This is a composite of video and time-lapse animation of a date between a couple of garbage couples. In order to express “it’s cute just by being alive”, we made the trash, which is far from cute, look like they are alive. It’s an attempt to express.

Music video of Kiwi & The PapayaMangoes “Forro in Tokyo”. This video depicts Tokyo rising from a burnt field after the war and what has lived there. To visualize such a flow of time, I realized the physical effect on live-action images (still images) by plane animation, which was rarely seen in various methodic challenges in “fusion of live-actions and animations”. I aimed for perversion.

A short animation that aims to make the content of a single print club tangible with the imagination of the viewer. The innocence of the gal character was plausibly directed with a disturbing motif and a nursery rhyme. It is also an experimental video showing how one material can be pulled by stuffing a lot of presentation instead of stuffing many materials.

An attempt to re-ignite the subtle lives of the images by montage the images on portraits that have been discarded and animation, mediate them, and create stories in the viewer. As an approach different from the “function” that computer-based expressions are good at, like inputting A and returning B, the process was documented by bringing the expression into the memory of the portrait’s man and changing its circuit.

Interactive installation created at the “Study of BABEL” exhibition hosted by Tokyo University of the Arts, which are related projects of the Brugel’s “Tower of Babel” exhibition. When the face is photographed with a dedicated iPads installed in the venue, the face is reflected in the image of people working inside the 3.4-meter tower. Through creating an activity to look for myself, I aimed for the “feeling” of the elaborate and magnificent charm of Bruegel’s “Tower of Babel”.
