This is a project to turn the humorousness of the famous gag of comedy trio representing Japan into “wisdom that leads to production” by theorizing and creating works based on it. 22 works were implemented regardless of the media selection. In addition, it was adopted as a grant, and held solo exhibitions at Tokyo and Kyoto, and held a talk event with a science communicator to examine the differences between research and production.

A traveling exhibition where you can experience the view of nature through the humorous goldfish personified by Ukiyo-e artist Kuniyoshi Utagawa. It consists of a Ukiyo-e reproduction, Kuniyoshi’s goldfish face-fitting paper craft, and a VR where you can experience the gaze of a goldfish. Especially, this VR is different from “immersive feeling” that you enjoy by yourself by looking at the HMD. Using real-time synthesis of animated goldfish on the image of a 360-degree camera, it realize “Place created by VR”.

This is a documentary video that shows a tune of my “Zoom in Face” for cats, and shows the stray cats experiencing them. I created a cat face pattern by machine learning, and replaced it with a human face pattern that had been referenced before, and realized it as an application. The range of computer-based interactive work was extended from humans to animals, and was created based on the desire to see unrecognized reactions.

In the beginning, it was just a casual doodle of a face. Since I didn’t know what the faces looked like, I created a website where anyone could post their interpretation anonymously( https://sasaki-sasaki.com/minoru/ ). Then, through social networking connections, 50 to 100 submissions were gathered. Eventually, there was a request for a stickers, and I responded, the site seemed to be finished. However, with the advent of the Corona disaster, online communication became more active, and the number of posts on the site began to increase again. Since there were many interesting posts, I picked them up on social networking sites, and if there is interesting post particularly, I made a “live-action” version of it. In response, the number of submissions increased, and some of the contributors even turned the face into plush doll. In response to the excitement of the contributors, I created a trophy for no reason. And there were calls to hold an award. About 3,200 posts were collected in the process leading to the implementation of the awards. Currently, we have moved to a system where posts are added in real time( https://onaji.org ), and a total of 7,000 posts have been collected.
